Now that Georgia/Florida Speedweeks is behind the Optima Batteries/Tim Logan Racing #15, they're ready to begin the next leg of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) schedule. In the beginning two weeks of February, the team had 17 starts with one top five and 5 top ten finishes.
The results from Florida/Georgia Speedweeks for the Optima Batteries/Tim Logan Racing #15 weren't up to Steve Francis' standards. "We didn't run well during Speedweeks." stated Francis. "We're working incredibly hard with the chassis builder Ronnie Stuckey to get these cars better earlier in the evening. We feel like we're really close once the track slicks off, we just need to get a little better when the track is faster."
The LOLMDS starts their season again after a near month long break this Friday at Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, OH and Brownstown Speedway on Saturday.
